wildflower {wednesday}

It's Wednesday!

And it's hot!

With the 4th just around the corner,
I guess it should be.

My littlest l.o.v.e.d. her very first pool time
outside.

Can't you tell by her smile?

It's times like this
when she'll bust out a loud
"happy, happy, haaaapppppy"

And...
I also just love her very protective brothers
looking on,
encouraging her
to jump off the side.

She did after just two attempts ;)

This week for wildflower {wednesday}
become a new follower...

If you do,
and
if you leave a way for me to contact you,
(by commenting here or by using the contact link above)...

I'll email you a coupon code
that you can use on any purchase
from now until Saturday, July 3rd.

happy wednesday!

he {loves} me...

Love one another and you will be happy.

It's as simple and as difficult as that.
~Michael Leunig
~

I recently made this necklace for a friend's daughter.

To give to her on her wedding day.

I just love it!

First initials of the bride and groom.

Perfect for an anniversary too!

Don't ya think?

Speaking of anniversaries...
mine is coming up very soon.

~21~
geesh.

What advice do you give to newlyweds?

p.s. I've added this to my store.
You can find it here.

{mama bird}

Keep a green bough in your heart, and the singing bird will come.
~chinese proverb~

Love these new little birds!

Perfectly sweet for a new mama.
(or soon-to-be mama)...

Hang a pink pearl for a girl
or a white, freshwater pearl for a boy!

Or how 'bout one to represent each kiddo?
Cute, cute.

Customized just for you.
And added to my store today.
You can find it here.

I just added this to my store today.

I will donate $10 from each sale.

I've been saving these sweet, little primitive hearts for something special.
What could be better?

{winners}

The winners of this week's wildflower {wednesday} are...

~Susan~

from Sewn by the Heart

She left a comment and said the following:

I still remember my deep feelings of gratitude for our country several years ago. I had finished serving an LDS mission in Italy and was flying into New York. When I saw the American Flag, I broke down. I had no idea it would affect me so much. I remember those feelings every time I see a flag and place my hand over my heart. I'm proud to be an American!

My second winner this week, selected from my followers, is...

~Cindy~

from The Story of Malia and Ava

Congratulations to both Susan and Cindy!

Send me an email letting me know which wording you would like on your patriotic necklace!

Since the 'puter is still in the shop,

I can't show pictures,

but I can tell you that each is the same as the one pictured above

with your choice of wording:

"stars and stripes"

"U.S.A."

"land that I love"

"land of the free"

~or~

"freedom"

wildflower {wednesday}

Freedom has its life in the hearts, the actions,
the spirit of men

and so it must be daily earned and refreshed~
else like a flower cut from its life-giving roots,

it will wither and die.
~Dwight D. Eisenhower~

Yes, it is Wednesday.
And I'm a bit late getting to the computer...

Summer around here means birthdays.
And the celebration began today.
Three of my five have their birthdays in the next 30 days.
It's another reason summer is l.o.v.e.d. around our neck of the woods.

And since we're talking birthdays,
America's is just around the bend too...

I have a few new designs to share in the coming days.
All celebrating freedom and the good 'ol USA.

Let's shake things up a bit this week
and change a few rules.

This week, to enter my wildflower {wednesday} giveaway,
leave me a comment on this post...

Tell me something you do to celebrate the 4th of July
~or~
tell me a freedom you are most grateful for.

One winner will be randomly selected from those who have left comments.
Another will be selected from my followers.

So, if you are a bit shy and don't want to leave a comment,
just become a follower :)
and you will automatically be entered in this week's wildflower {wednesday}.

Best part,
the winners (yes, there are two this week)
can choose from any of the necklaces I post about from now until Monday.
Of course, each celebrates America's birthday!

p.s. I will also be adding each to my store as well.
