wildflower {wednesday}

You have brains in your head.
You have feet in your shoes.
You can steer yourself any direction you choose.
You’re on your own.
And you know what you know.
And YOU are the guy who’ll decide where to go.

  2. My favorite graduation memory just took place last night, watching my daughter graduate from 8th grade. We adopted her from China last summer and to see all that she accomplished this year was amazing and a moment I will not forget!

    And I'm a follower here too! :)

  5. It was so emotional watching our oldest son graduate from college with his engineering degree last summer, just weeks before he got married. We were so proud of him! Maybe even more so today!

  6. My graduation memory is when I walked on stage to get my college diploma. It was a very difficult course of study, in which very few people do it in the fours years, but I did it! I was extremely proud of myself and so happy to have my family there with me, literally cheering for me as I walked across the stage, (and even after they asked people not to do that!!)

    I am also a follower and you are on my blog!

  7. My favorite graduation memory was when my little brother graduated from high school. He had a genetic disease and was wheelchair bond. I will never forget his smile as he was wheeled across the stage to receive his diploma.

  8. I graduated from college when my first born daughter was two. It took me a little longer than normal to get through school, but I did it. I even went to school when I was pregnant with her. I was so exhausted at the end of it all that I held my diploma upside down in the graduation photo. The best part was seeing my sweet little girl and my husband cheering for me after they called my name. Their love and support meant much more to me than a college degree ever could.

  9. Of course, all of my children's graduations were great moments. A little emotional, but great. However, I have to say the funnest graduations were my preschool classes. I taught a couple of preschool classes each year for three years. The children participated in a program of singing, dancing, etc. Then they graduated even with the little graduation hats. It was such fun to see how show they were (even crying for a few weeks), not wanting to leave their mothers, and then how confident they had become. They were ready to go to 'real' school. I have always felt it was good for children to learn to perform or speak in front of others. What great memories!

  10. Love the little preschool graduations... when they are all dressed up, wearing their pint size caps, singing cute songs. In fact, I'm looking forward to another pre-school graduation in just one week! :)

    Thanks for the give-away! LOVE your things. I am also a follower.
