For this child I prayed;
and the Lord hath given me my petition
which I asked of him
~1 Samuel 1:27~
~1 Samuel 1:27~
I know many love this verse of scripture.
It's one that speaks right to your heart.
Especially if you have been
waiting
and
praying
for months
and sometimes even years...
for the day
when you will finally see your sweet child's face
for the very first time.
I posted about a similar design a few months ago,
but recently made a few changes to it
that I love.
It can be ordered with or without the name charm.
And will be added to my store soon.
Promise.
If you can't wait,
send me an email and I can set up a special order for you
right away.
Anyone else feeling the last-few-days-of-summer crunch?
We're busy packing up one to send off to college.
Which means everyone...
every single boy at this house,
is swapping bedrooms.
It a project.
And it's a messy one.
Digressing here :)
anywhoo...

This verse means so much to me. Each night, my husband and I pray that God will lead us to the child that we are meant to adopt!

ReplyDeleteOh this is adorable! How special.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite scripture is: Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud 5or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. 6It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. 7Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance. 13Three things will last forever—faith, hope, and love—and the greatest of these is love.

ReplyDeleteSince I am now a senior in high school I am going through all the college choices and trying to figure out what Gods will for my life is. And through this I am clinging to Jeremiah 29:11!
ReplyDelete'For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the LORD, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.'
God has plans for me and in his timing he will reveal them to me.

"But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on the wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint"

ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite verses (and one I held to through our last adoption) is
... if you have faith as small as a mustard seed you can say to this mountain "move from here to there" and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you. - Matt. 17:20
And
now faith is the substance of things hopped for, the evidence of things not seen - Heb. 11:1
